OUR SOLUTION
MASi (Multilingual Adaptive School for Inclusion) is the first ever AI driven, comprehensive K-12 school, accessible on a basic smartphone in any local language and cultural context, with learning facilitated by digital and/or human teachers. One teacher becomes like ten, and where none are available, MASi steps into the gap. MASi tackles the global education crisis by eliminating key barriers to high-quality schooling—limited physical and technological infrastructure, a shortage of high-quality teachers, and insufficient educational resources. Unlike traditional programs, MASi leverages cutting-edge language generation technology tailored for low-resourced language communities, to expand digital educational access to 60% of the world's 7,000 language communities that have been left out of technological advancements.​​

OUR TECHNOLOGICAL IMPACT
MASi is a National Science Foundation, SBIR Phase I project, and it represents a critical step forward in creating a robust, culturally relevant NLP model that can deliver educational content in low-resourced languages. By addressing the technical challenges of working with languages that have limited digital data, the project pushes the boundaries of current NLP research and has far-reaching implications for global education.
