With a career spanning tech support, systems engineering, teaching, and academic leadership, I have cultivated a comprehensive understanding of both the technical and human aspects of digital transformation.
Currently, as the Dean of Digital & Information Technology and Executive Director of Workforce Technology at Houston Community College, I oversee cutting-edge initiatives that bridge the gap between education and industry, ensuring students and professionals gain the skills they need to thrive in the ever-evolving digital economy. My work is centered on developing high-impact programs, forging industry partnerships, and integrating emerging technologies to enhance learning experiences and workforce readiness.
Prior to my current roles, I held positions as a Tech Support Specialist, Systems Engineer, Teacher, and Program Chair, allowing me to engage with technology at multiple levels—from hands-on problem-solving to curriculum development and program strategy. As a small business founder, I also understand the entrepreneurial mindset and the challenges of navigating digital transformation in a fast-changing market.
