My background in education anthropology, the anthropology of technology (AoT), and sociolinguistics, combined with 15+ years of experience tackling multifaceted social issues, has enabled me to work across sectors including public education, housing, and city governance. Notable achievements include an NSF award for the development of MASi, the first ever AI-driven, multilingual, global, K-12 school; spearheading the creation of an online platform aimed at promoting racial and religious tolerance; and developing an equity research and assessment tool that helps organizations evaluate and improve their inclusion efforts.

My career began with a strong focus on education innovation. After earning a BA from Columbia University, I co-founded and taught history at an innovative public school in New York City. While pursuing an MA and PhD in cultural anthropology at The New School, I expanded my reach as an education researcher across the United States, southern Africa, and Latin America. Connections with the American Anthropological Association and various international NGOs enabled me to lead impactful projects in challenging environments, including post-conflict and underserved urban areas. After graduation, building on these experiences, I founded an educational consulting firm that partnered with multiple school districts across Texas to significantly improve reading and math scores.

In a groundbreaking blend of technology and social science, I launched AI ANTHROPOLOGY, an innovative tool within ChatGPT that uses artificial intelligence to address social problems through an anthropological lens. This initiative not only enhances my ability to tackle societal challenges but also positions ANTHROPOLOGI at the forefront of integrating AI with social sciences to create impactful, sustainable solutions.

I have also established myself as a writer, exploring complex social issues through narrative. My books, THE BLUE IS WHERE GOD LIVES and THE EDUCATIONAL CONTRACT, offer readers new perspectives on societal challenges. In my Substack newsletter, WHITE SPACE, I delve into the subtleties of meaning between the words we speak. My work also includes contributions to The American Scholar, HuffPost, Akron Beacon Journal, and Newsday (New York).
